In this workshop you will see drawings from the Buda House garden or from the Australian bush or your home garden and transform them into intaglio prints using washable photopolymer plates, exposed in sunlight. Bring a range of your drawings or photographs from your garden to the workshop. Or there will be time to draw plants and garden views from the gorgeous Buda House gardens. You can use graphite pencils or felt-tipped pens or pen and ink to create a drawing or drafting film which we expose onto a photopolymer plate in the sunlight. The plate is washed out in tap water, dried and hardened, and then printed onto a dampened paper to produce beautiful intaglio prints.
